“Before I started this program I was 20 years and looking into weight loss surgery. I had a hard time walking across campus and would be out of breath by the time I got to each class. Since starting FFF in August 2010, I have lost 70 lbs. and I feel great! I’ve gained over $340 in cash. I didn't think I could do it without extreme surgery. I am so grateful for Matt and the program!"

Joining the Frisco Fights Fat program reinforced my commitment to improve my health by removing the unhealthy weight that I'd allowed to pile on over the past few years. Our coach Matt Schultz is so encouraging and covers all aspects of getting healthy, including exercise and other lifestyle changes. I've learned so much from the individuals in the group, like healthy recipe exchanges and tips for eating better. We share our challenges and motivate each other.

Before the weight loss challenge, I weighed 237 pounds. I tried to lose weight but couldn't because I have no thyroid. During the WLC, I started losing! Total Control and exercise gave my metabolism a jump start. I also learned that I can eat fruit, which I avoided for years because I thought the sugar was bad for me. I lost 25 pounds. I sleep better and my clothes are getting really loose. I recommend to everyone that is trying to lose weight or just improve general health, to give FRISCO FIGHTS FAT a try. Matt is an awesome instructor and helps you reach your goals. I feel GREAT!!!!!

Hi Matt. Here are my blood work results with a few points of reference to show how well this program is working for me. After 2 months of applying your program and losing pounds and fat, I feel like I’m in my 20’s again! I saw the doctor in March and now in October. My total cholesterol has dropped from 162 to 128. My triglycerides have dropped from 247 to 106. My BPI was 135/83. Now it's 120/73.
Your nutritional program has been more effective than any meds the doctor has put me on. I’m scheduling a doctor’s appointment next week to discuss coming off the Lipitor. She may want to wait until I’ve lost more weight, but it’s possible she will lower my current 20mg to 10mg. I’ll let you know.
My wife Jennifer’s blood pressure is currently being controlled by 2 different meds. Prior to starting this weight loss challenge, her blood pressure was 133/99. Now that she has lost weight and is eating correctly, her blood pressure has dropped to 102/78. She will also be meeting with the doctor next week to discuss her progress.
Thanks for teaching Jennifer and I how to eat to live instead our old bad habits where we lived to eat. I still have about 25 pounds to lose and I’ll need your guidance and new ideas to get me to my goal. Thank you for caring about people the way you do. I told you that all you’ve ever brought us was good luck, and you’I have proven it once again. - Ron and Jennifer H.
(Matt's follow-up note - In one 12 week session, Jennifer successfully lost 18.2 pds and Ron lost 26 pds. Ron won 3rd place as the Biggest Loser and Jennifer won the most inches lost prize. Both inspired and motivated everyone in the group. I thoroughly enjoyed them each week!)

Matt - Just wanted to let you know that I got so much information from last night's class on "Shaping Up for Life, not just Weight Loss." I thought it was probably one of the most helpful classes for me. So much so that it motivated me to work on the weight machines this morning for 20 minutes for my muscles, then I did the elliptical for 20 minutes for my cardio. I usually focus on aerobics only but now I want muscle to burn calories." [Her excitement in response to Dr. Oz's statement, "Every pound of muscle burns between 40 and 120 calories a day just to sustain itself, while every pound of fat feeds on only 1-3 calories," excerpted from YOU on a Diet by Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz.]

I did just what you said. It worked! I drank a delicious protein shake around 9:00 p.m. and I wasn't hungry or craving sweets. I usually gorge myself on a huge bowel of ice cream or whatever left overs I can raid in the fridge.

My doctor wanted me to lose weight to lower my cholesterol and reduce the load on my bad knees. I had tried on my own and was really not getting any real results. I had be very active when I was younger and hold a black belt and a brown belt in 2 different martial arts. I understand discipline and training. I was just not able to keep myself motivated with work and life.
My friend Denise recommended Matt's program after she successfully lost weight in his class. I called Matt and discovered that his program was really similar to my doctor's plan. But my doctor's program cost $350 for 3 months. At $35, Matt's nutritional program sounded like a better buy.
Matt taught me about food. How it works with your body and how to be accountable. The program is very good to learn how to track yourself and the way you can change your life style for the better. Matt gives a 30 second infomercial for nutritional products he has to help you but there was never any pressure or feeling that if you do not use his products you will fail. They are simply another tool for you to use or not. I have not followed his teaching to the letter but as best I could. I travel and it is hard to find good food choice on the run. I did increase my exercise and ate much better and tracked what I ate. These changes made a big difference for me.
In the 11 weeks so far, I have won the weekly weigh-in prize 6 times for the most amount of weight lost in one week. I have lost 20 lbs and one pants size. To anyone not sure, a $35 investment in your life is very little. Good luck to all that are on the path.

"I've lost 20 lbs in 7 weeks and I'm still losing. This is the first time I've weighed less than 300 lbs since 2005. What my coach told me about portion control made me more aware of how much I eat. So I measure everything now"
-Norman
"I lost 20 lbs in 11 weeks. I've lost 100 lbs and regained it on 3 occasions. This is the first nutrition program that has taught me how to lose weight and keep it off for life. In all my other programs, I never discovered the importance of consuming adequate levels of protein. I will join the next weight loss challenge!"
-Linda B.
“It has been so stressful at work. I know that if it weren't for this class, I would have gained 15 pounds. I typically work 60 hours a week and don't have time to exercise or do lots of meal planning. From what I've learned in this course, I've been able make more nutritious choices when I eat on the run and I know how to plan for those times of comfort snacking. I will join the next class.”
